The common area and check-in area of Halley Hostel are beautifully designed, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. the hostel offers air conditioning in the rooms all day, which is a rare feature for budget accommodations. the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. the mattresses are perfectly soft, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. the bunk beds are stable, so you won't be disturbed by your bunk mate getting in or out of bed. the rooftop area is really nice, and there is free cooled or warm water available.
Felt right at home, couldn't find anything to complain about.

We had a great value for our money at this new hostel in Hanoi. The room was clean and comfortable, with really nice beds. The location was convenient and the staff treated us friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could be improved with more variety and choices.

We had a wonderful stay at Halley! the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a calm and welcoming environment. the attention to detail in the furniture and decor is impressive, showing their passion and love for design. We thoroughly enjoyed the local dinner prepared by the hosts, which was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this hostel and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip. Cons: All was perfect! 🌟.

Friendly staff, good location, and nice rooftop.
Beds were old and uncomfortable, and the bathroom situation was not ideal. Noisy when unpacking due to the bed conditions.

We arrived late at night and had some trouble finding the hostel, but once we were inside, the staff on the security camera quickly let us in. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax and enjoy breakfast, and the location in the heart of the Old Quarter was perfect for exploring. I highly recommend this hostel for its excellent service and convenient location.

My stay at Halley was absolutely amazing! I was in Hanoi for 2 nights and the hostel exceeded all my expectations. The rooftop was a hidden gem with its charming rustic decor, perfect for meeting and socializing with other travelers. The spacious and clean dorms were a welcome sight after a long day of exploring. The staff, who all spoke great English, were incredibly helpful and friendly, always there to assist with any problem. I also enjoyed the convenience of the kitchenette, allowing me to prepare simple meals. I highly recommend this hostel for an unforgettable stay in Hanoi!

Friendly staff, calm environment, detailed furniture, delicious dinner, would return. Great atmosphere, spacious dorms, private beds, helpful staff, affordable price. Owner and staff interact with guests, share Vietnamese culture and food recommendations. Scary outside, fantastic inside, nice staff, convenient design, locked cabinets. Best hostel, felt like part of the family, beautiful rooms and bathrooms, rooftop with great city view. Family dinner with delicious food, chance to learn how to make meals.

I stayed at Halley Hostel for a few nights during my trip to Vietnam. The staff, Pinky, Happy, and their friends. They assisted with transportation arrangements, recommended great places to eat and drink, and were always available on WhatsApp for any questions or concerns. The hostel itself was clean, with comfortable beds, and lots of bathrooms. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake and the night market. The self-service breakfast was a nice touch, and the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

For the price I paid, I got great value and a comfortable room with friendly staff. The location was perfect, close to the nightlife but tucked away in a quiet corner.
